Introduction

Who cares how many were crucified with Jesus?!?!

Does that really matter?!?!

The main thing is that we're all saved and going to heaven, right?

Partially.

I Timothy 2:4
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

This word "knowledge" comes from the Greek word epignosis [Strong's #1922] and means first-hand experiential knowledge.

II Timothy 2
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

17 And their word will eat as doth a canker [gangrene]: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

The teaching that only 2 were crucified with Jesus is a wrong dividing of the word of God.

Matthew 16:12
Then understood they how that he bade [commanded] them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Why?

Matthew 15:6
And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

The doctrines, commandments and traditions of men contradicts and cancels the commandments of God.

If we are walking in fellowship with God and in his perfectly pure love and light, then we will seek to know and live his will in our lives.

John 5:30
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

So if the will of our father is that 17 were crucified with Jesus, then that is what we should believe and teach. Period.

What is the will of our father and how many were actually crucified with Jesus?

The primary point is that the word of God is a simple book that we can always trust because of its perfect integrity, precision and sound logic.

Here is an image of the 5 crosses at Ploubezre, France to verify that the idea of 4 crucified with Jesus isn't new.

These stone crosses were made sometime in the 18th century.

Five crosses at Ploubezre, France.

The 5 crosses [cinq croix] can be seen directly in Google maps by clicking or tapping this image!

Its right at the intersection of D11 [Ruvignolet] & D113 [Route de Tonquedec] in Ploubezre, which is in Northwest France, less than 10 miles from the Atlantic ocean - check out the street view!

If we, the sons of God, cannot put the pieces of the bible together correctly, then how can anybody else?!

Nehemiah 8:8
So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

God's people didn't understand the scriptures until there was clarity and distinction in the law [word] of God.

That is why it's so important to understand how many were crucified with Jesus.

Matthew 13:19
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

John 19:18 [kjv]
Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

In the middle eastern parts of the world, they are taught that there were 4 crucified with Jesus, so the bibles that are shipped out to them do not have the forgery because their bibles agree with their theology.

Not sure where the forgery is? Read on...

However, in the western world, we are wrongly taught that there were only 2 crucified with Jesus, so our bibles have the forgery in them not only because it agrees with our theology, but so the bible publishing companies can make more money by selling more bibles!

Furthermore, the bibles with the forgery in them and the bibles without the forgery are made from the exact same publishing companies!

The reason boils down to money.

I Timothy 6
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

The word "one" that was added to John 19:18 was deliberately NOT put in italics like it should have.

One of the distinguishing characteristics of the:
  1. Bishop's bible

  2. Geneva bible

  3. King James Version

  4. New American Standard Bible

are that [at least some of the time], the translators italicize the words that they added, but as you will soon see, this practice is far from accurate.

In other words, the translators of the kjv did wrong and they knew it.

This is handling the word of God deceitfully.

2 Corinthians 4:2
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

We can't always trust the translators, but we can always trust God.

This is why we must perform sound, consistent and logical biblical research.

So now the next task is to see how the older more authoritative texts of the bible render John 19:18 in order to get back to the original word of God.

How do the ancient biblical manuscripts render John 19:18?

Here is a screenshot from a Greek interlinear of the felony forgery of John 19:18 where the translators deliberately added the word "one" to this verse!

The word "interlinear" comes from the prefix inter [between] and linear [lines] and refers to a the same block of text, but in different languages in alternating lines.

In the red box, notice that the word "one" is in square brackets, which indicates that it was purposely added to the bible. That is why there is a blank space above the word "one" and no corresponding Greek word above it.

But let's verify this ourselves from an additional objective and even more authoritative source so we can cement this truth into our minds, leaving absolutely no doubt, [which is one of the 4 signs of weak believing].

The screenshot below is of the Codex Sinaiticus, the oldest complete copy of the Greek New Testament in existence, dating back to the 4th century, so it carries a lot of weight and is an international treasure for researchers and teachers of the bible alike.

It isn't rocket science as you have already proven to yourself!

These 8 critical Greek texts below are all in agreement: in the red rectangle, all 8 have the Greek words "duo entuethen kai entuethen" = two on this side and on that side.

Again, 2 generic criminals [malefactors] on one side + 2 [robbers] on the other side = 4 criminals crucified with Jesus Christ.

There are many other ways to verify the 4 crucified with Jesus, which you can see in the diagram below.

This is why there can't be only 2 crucified with Jesus!

John 19
32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.
33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:

The infographic below demonstrates the insanity of corrupt, man-made religious doctrines of men which cancel out the good effects of the precision and truth of God's word.

If only 2 were crucified with Jesus, then how could the Roman soldiers have bypassed Jesus and not discovered that he was already dead?

But the precise truth of God's word verifies that the bible is a simple and logical book.

2 vs 4 crucified with Jesus

The 2 malefactors [evil doers]

All the many smaller steps involved in crucifying 5 different people can take a while. You have to dig the holes where the poles are going to go, get the criminals out of jail and drag them out to the area where they are going to be crucified, etc.

All that takes a lot of time.

Luke 23
32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,
37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews.

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

First, we need to define who the malefactors are.

screenshot of the definition of malefactor = an evil worker.

Verse 33 says that there was one malefactor [a general criminal, an "evil doer"] on the right side of Jesus and another one on his left.

This isn't rocket science! 1 on one side of Jesus + 1 on the other side = 2 crucified with Jesus so far.

Here is another very important distinction: only ONE of the malefactors railed against Jesus Christ! [You'll see the full importance of this when we get to the other 2 criminals crucified with Jesus later.

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

BTW, the word "railed" is the Greek word blaspheme, which means: "to slander, hence to speak lightly or profanely of sacred things".

We need to clarify one last thing before we move on to the next criminals. Look at verse 43.

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

This verse is punctuated wrong! It says that this malefactor will be with Jesus in paradise that very day, the exact same day they were being crucified, promoting the wrong belief that when you die, you immediately go to a better place.

Just for clarification, you don't go to heaven when you die, nor do you go to paradise.

Heaven in way up in the sky, but paradise is always a place upon the earth.

So here is the correct way to punctuate this verse:

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee today, shalt thou be with me in paradise.

The 2 thieves [robbers]

Matthew 27
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him there;

37 And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.
38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.

Watch the passage of time!

Summary of these verses below:

Verse 31: they decided to crucify Jesus and led him towards Golgotha.

Verse 32: SIMON, not Jesus, carried the cross! The cross Christ bore was spiritual, not physical.

Verse 33: they arrive at Golgotha.

Verse 34: vinegar is offered to Jesus.

Verse 35: Jesus is crucified. This takes time.

They parted his garments. This takes time.

They cast lots. This takes time.

Verse 36: they sat down and watched Jesus for a while. This takes time.

Verse 37: they put up a sign over Jesus' head. This takes time.

Verse 38: two "thieves" were crucified with Jesus. This takes time.

Who were the thieves?

screenshot of the definition of thief = a robber, one who uses violence.

So as we can see from the previous screenshots, the two thieves [robbers - lestes], are totally different criminals from the malefactors [evil doers - kakourgos].

All robbers are evil doers, but not all evil doers are robbers.

This is the integrity and precision of God's word: it is a simple, logical book.

This is why we can trust the bible.

Now all the parts of the puzzle fit together perfectly:

Jesus was crucified with 2 generic criminals [kakourgos] first.

Then a series of events took place.

Finally, the 2 robbers [lestes] were crucified last.

The Felony Forgery of John 19:18 verifies 4 crucified.

The significance of the others

Luke 23
32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

The key is the word "other" in verse 32. Look at the definition and what this really means!

The 2 malefactors were others of an entirely different kind or type than the robbers.

screenshot of the definition of others

This once again proves that the 2 malefactors cannot be the 2 robbers.

The cross was a stake!

Everybody has seen jillions of crosses all over the place: in cemeteries, in churches, posters of the crucifixion, etc. Our entire culture is saturated with them.

What most people don't realize is that the actual "cross" that Jesus Christ was crucified on was not the traditional cross we're all familiar with, but was in fact more like a telephone pole!

Look at this screenshot of the definition of the cross on page 819 from E.W. Bullinger's critical lexicon and concordance to the English and Greek New Testament [Zondervan].

SUMMARY

As the truth and precision of John 19:18 shines through, 2 crucified with Jesus on this side + 2 crucified with Jesus on that side = 4 crucified with Jesus.

How come most christians are not being taught:

* critical thinking skills?

* how the bible interprets itself?

* how to research the bible with free online reference materials?

  1. If we, the sons of God, cannot put the pieces of the bible together correctly, then how can anybody else?!

    Nehemiah 8:8
So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

  2. There is irrefutable evidence from many ancient biblical manuscripts that John 19:18 was forged to support the false doctrine that only 2 were crucified with Jesus.

  3. As the 2 diagrams clearly demonstrate, the idea that only 2 were crucified violates the laws of logistics.

  4. There are 4 proofs that the 2 malefactors are different than the 2 thieves: the crucifixion events in chronological order; 2 different word definitions and the responses of the 2 malefactors was different than the 2 thieves as detailed below:

  5. Luke 23:32 "And there were also two other, malefactors, led WITH him to be put to death. The Greek word for malefactor is Kakourgoi, which means a general criminal.

  6. Matthew 27:38 "Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left." This happened AFTER the 2 malefactors were already crucified and AFTER many events occurred that are listed in Matthew 27:31-38. The Greek word for thieves is Lestai, which means robber.

  7. All robbers are criminals, but not all criminals are robbers. This is the grammatical and logical proof that the thieves [kjv] are not the malefactors [kjv].

  8. The third proof that the general criminals [malefactors] were different from the robbers [thieves] is that both robbers reviled Jesus, but only 1 of the generic criminals did.

  9. The Greek word for other is Heteros, which means another of a different kind, proving once again that the 2 general criminals are very different from the 2 robbers.

  10. The actual cross that Jesus was crucified on is not the traditional cross that we are familiar with. The word "cross" is the Greek word stauros, which means a single stake in the ground and excludes all cross pieces.
