INTRODUCTION

The devil is always pushing the theory of life after death and will continue to do so until he gets thrown into the lake of fire and totally anhililated.

And the devil will continue to provide false evidence for life after death as well and millions of people all over the world believe it, hook, line and sinker.

Going to heaven when you die is a corrupted religious form of life after death.

Below are just a few common cultural myths vs the perfect and eternal truth of God's word.

MYTH: All christians go to heaven when they die.
TRUTH: Christians go to heaven when Jesus Christ returns.

MYTH: Your soul is immortal.
TRUTH: Your soul vanishes into the air when you die.

MYTH: God takes us when its our time to go.
TRUTH: God never kills people. The devil steals, kills and destroys.

MYTH: Reincarnation is still possible.
TRUTH: Reincarnation is a counterfeit hope. Its another lie from the devil.

MYTH: I pray to lot of saints as part of my catholic upbringing.
TRUTH: All saints are dead in the grave. You are praying to familiar spirits which are a type of devil spirit that imitates the dead.

MYTH: My neighbor talked to her deceased husband in a meeting last week.
TRUTH: The voice she heard was a familiar devil spirit, not her husband.

BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT: THE TRUE NATURE OF MANKIND

First, we need to lay a foundation of understanding regarding the nature of man. Then we can better understand what happens after death & how we can overcome it [All verses from King James version].

Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

God formed mankind's body out of the chemical elements of the ground.

Our soul is simply that which makes your body alive and breathing. It what makes you you - your personality, the ability to process information and make decisions.

Luke 12:19
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

When we talk to ourselves, that is our soul talking to itself.

Leviticus 17:11
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

The word "life" is the Hebrew word nephesh [Strong's #5315] which means soul life, an alive person.

If you go to a funeral or wake, you go up to the front of the room to see THE BODY of the person who recently passed away because their soul life, their breath life, has dissapated into the air upon their last breath.

I Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This verse makes a clear distinction between body, soul and spirit. They are all 3 unique parts of a christian and correspond to the 3 verbs in the following verse, formed, made and created.

Isaiah 43:7
Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

God created our gift of holy spirit

WHAT IS THE TRUE NATURE OF DEATH?

Now we can tackle death from the truth of God's word.

Genesis 3:19
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Our physical bodies are made of the same chemical elements that the ground is made up of, so when we die, our bodies will decay and become part of the ground.

The idea that our souls are immortal is a lie from the God of this world, who is Satan.

Genesis 3:4
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

This is a blatant contradiction to God's word.

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

All doctrines, religions & theologies that teach some form of life after death, such as reincarnation, purgatory, or burning in the lake of fire forever are based upon Satan's first recorded lie in the bible: "ye shall not surely die".

When somebody dies and you're invited to the wake, you go there to see only the body, not your aunt, grandparent or whoever just died. We go up to the front of the room, and look into the casket to see only the body because that's all that is left. Once you take your last breath, your soul has died, has vanished from existence and is therefore, gone from the body. The body is all that is left of that person.

Job 21:13
They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

The definition and concept of purgatory contradicts many verses of scripture and is never mentioned even one time in the entire bible

Not understanding the biblical terms body, soul, spirit, formed, made and created opens the door for Satan to lodge his lies into the minds of millions.

Psalms 146:4
His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Ecclesiastes 9
5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.
10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

The word "death" in verse 26 comes from the Greek word Thanatos, which means "the natural end of earthly human existence". Death is a continuing state of existence, so a very accurate translation of death is gravedom - the reign of the grave.

Therefore, by definition, death cannot help anybody or perform any good thing for anybody, such as take a person to heaven. Therefore, christians do not go to heaven when they die. They go to the grave instead.

Death is an enemy and not a friend. A friend would take you to heaven, but not an enemy. Enemies take you to the grave, but friends don't.

I Thessalonians 4
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep [have already died], that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [precede = go before] them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Did you read and think about what verse 16 said? "The dead in Christ shall rise first:". If you are already in heaven, then how can you rise above that which is already above everything else?

The lie that you go to heaven when you die contradicts holy scripture, sound logic and the definition of words.

The dead in Christ shall rise first because they are dead in a grave, which is under the surface of the earth. If somebody dies, we bury them deep into the ground. That is why the dead in Christ shall rise first when Jesus Christ returns for his saints.

The bible really is a simple, logical book that is also extremely precise, accurate, and trustworthy. It is corrupt man-made religions that don't make any sense.

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

If death brings us to heaven, then why would God send Jesus Christ in the future back down towards earth to get us up out of the grave???

WHY IS THERE DEATH?

There are 2 basic reasons: Adam and the devil.

Romans 5
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Since this verse is referring to a tree of the knowledge of good and evil, it has to be referring to a figurative tree,(which is a figure of speech), and not to a literal, physical tree. Adam & eve didn't cause the fall of man just because they ate an apple. That's just religious junk that has no basis in logic or the bible.

Verse 17 says "thou shalt surely die". They died spiritually because the gift of holy spirit, their only spiritual connection to God, was no longer there. It returned back to God who gave it.

The sin that Adam committed was treason against God. Adam gave all the power, authority and rulership of the earth that God gave to him to God's enemy Satan. Adam & Eve only had a body and a soul after the fall of man and therefore, no connection to God.

Adam and Eve were sons of God by adoption, not birth, so the gift of holy spirit was upon them upon the condition that they would do the will of God.

Treason is not the will of God, and therefore, it violated the conditions of the contract with God. That is why they lost the gift of holy spirit.

God's word is always true, in contrast to the devil's word, as you will now see.

Hebrews 6:18
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

John 17:17
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Genesis 3:4
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

In verse 44, Jesus was talking to a particular group of religious leaders, (pharisees), who were the sons of the devil. Look at what this verse says about the devil - "for he is a liar, and the father of it". The devil is not only a liar, but the father (originator) of lies, so when he said "ye shall not surely die", that was a lie too.

The christian version of Satan's lie in Genesis 3 - (ye shall not surely die) is the idea that you will go to heaven when you die. If that's true, then we could all just kill ourselves and be in heaven forever! Thankfully, most people don't buy that lie.

I Corinthians 15
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

According to verses 22 & 23, christians are made alive "at his coming" and not when they die.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

WHAT ABOUT ESP?

Good question. Weird, freaky things can and do happen for anyone that wants to look.

Since there are only 2 realms in life (the 5-senses & spiritual), by a process of elimination, the study of life after death is exclusively in the spiritual realm.

God's realm consists of himself (the creator of the universe), his children, and angels. The devil's realm consists of himself, his children and his fallen angels, which are devil spirits.

Humans are born with only 5 senses: hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting and touching.

By definition, it is impossible to perform a scientific study of ESP because it is outside of the scientific realm which is based upon data gathered by our 5-senses.

I Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The natural man is a person that only has a body & soul as discussed previously. There is no spirit of God within him, so without the gift of holy spirit, it is impossible for him to understand spiritual things. That's just common sense which the word of God backs up.

II Corinthians 4
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

So if something weird, freaky, or very strange is happening, we can tell very quickly whether its coming from the one true God or Satan simply by having a basic understanding of the bible.

All eastern religions, reincarnation, the new age movement, etc that basically teach that we all have a little spark or light of God within us, and therefore are going to heaven, are based on Satan's lie in Genesis 3 - ye shall not surely die! So the idea of life after death is a lie from hell. Was that clear enough? ;)

If you go into a seance and hear the voice of your best friend, a relative, etc who died several years ago, it cannot be the actual person themselves because remember the many clear verses of scripture that say there are no thoughts after you die?

Their voices do exist but only because they are counterfeit voices from the adversary, Satan, who is a liar. The voices from people who have already died are coming from devil spirits known as familiar spirits because they are familiar with that person and their life.

One way you can tell whether something is from the one true God or the adversary is look at the short-term and long-term benefits or goals of the incident. Does it cause you to believe or do something that contradicts the bible? If so, then its from the adversary, and not God. It really simplifies things in a very confusing and contradictory world.

When I was in high school, before I knew Christ, I believed that mankind was the result of genetic experiments that aliens from outer space performed on monkeys. Man was half way between the aliens and apes.

But then I realized that it was all a hoax. The idea of a bunch of UFO's coming down to earth to save mankind is nothing more than a counterfeit hope of Jesus Christ's return.

So when it comes to freaky occurrences, here's a few verses to keep in mind:

Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

Don't be afraid of other people's fear, nor be afraid yourself.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Without an accurate knowledge of God's word, we will fall prey to the adversary's doctrines, devices, & devil spirits. We will have no standard of truth to compare his lies to, and so will most likely believe them.

II Thessalonians 2
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

At some point in the distant future, the anti-christ and the devil will be permanently destroyed. But temporarily, Satan is the god, the ruler, of this earth. He used to be Lucifer, the angel of light, so he knows the laws of physics. He can't break them, but he can manipulate matter and energy within the limits of those laws to produce lying signs and wonders.

That is where the really weird and freaky things come from. He can't create something from nothing, like God can, but he is a master counterfeiter. The closer the counterfeit is to the genuine, the more effective it is. That is why we must know the accuracy of the bible so we don't get tricked or decieved.

II Corinthians 11
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

So if you see ghosts, apparitions, things moving by themselves(like on ouija boards), etc, then there are devil spirits in operation. Tarot card readings, palm readings, crystal ball predictions, etc are all inspired by the adversary, the devil who controls devil spirits in people.

Ephesians 4
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

I Corinthians 15
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
